Welcome to the official website of Kirkintilloch Golf Club, the "family club" where the year 2025 allows us to celebrate becoming 130 years young!
Our 18 hole par 70 golf course and clubhouse sit amongst a rolling parkland layout with the Campsie Fells and Clyde Valley providing a stunning backdrop and spectacular panoramic views.
The golf course was originally designed by the legendary golf course architect James Braid in 1895 and is located 9 miles to the north of central Glasgow. The town of Kirkintilloch itself is often referred to as the " Canal Capital of Scotland" and hosts the famous annual Canal Festival in August each year attracting thousands of visitors. There are a number of nearby reasonably priced hotels and excellent restaurants for anyone wishing to play and stay and take in some of the beautiful surroundings.
We firmly believe that our undulating golf course provides a fair and true test of golf with our greens regularly being regarded as being the finest in the county.
Facilities - Our wide range of facilities include full size practice area, practice nets, putting green and our "Urban Gowf" indoor golf simulator that can be hired for indoor practice, cutstom fitting and also social events. Our resident PGA Professional, Graeme Fisher and his retail team provide expert golf tuition, custom golf club fitting, golf club repairs and stock all major brands of golf merchandise.
Function Suites for Hire - Our clubhouse has 2 separate function suites that are available for private hire for special occasions such as weddings, birthday parties, christenings, office parties, golf society outings etc. We can provide a range of food options comprising of snacks, buffet selection or full dinner service. Our hospitality manager Jemma will be happy to discuss your requirements. Memberships - The benefits of playing golf are well documented, so if you like to keep fit, love to socialise, are new to the game or if you are a more experienced exponent then please come join us, a warm welcome is assured. Our membership offers change frequently and will appear on this website as well as on our social media platforms, so please check back here regularly to take advantage of the current best offers.
Society Days - We offer bespoke packages for golfing societies of all sizes ranging from a simple roll+coffee+round of golf to more inclusive days for example with breakfast+lunch+2 rounds+dinner. Prize-giving can also be arranged in one of our function suites. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
